How it works
Who's eligible?
The OHS Essentials Program is available to:
Victorian small businesses with 60 workers or fewer who have a WorkCover insurance policy
Sole traders who use contractors and have a WorkCover insurance policy
All Victorian farmers
Process
Visit 1 (within first month)
Site review by an independent health and safety expert + prepare simple safety plan.
Visit 2 (3-6 months)
Follow-up visit to check progress on the safety action plan, offer guidance if needed.
Final Visit (9-12 months)
Completion visit to ensure all actions have been completed and workplace is safe.
All three visits are fully funded by WorkSafe Victoria.
